Instagram Reels is a new feature on the platform that allows users to create and share 15-second video clips. It is pretty similar to TikTok. Since they were introduced in August 2020, Instagram Reels have become increasingly popular, with users creating and sharing millions of Reels daily. Reels can be edited with audio, effects, and other creative tools and can be shared with followers or Stories. Users can also choose to share them on the Explore page, where other users can discover them.
They are similar to Stories but differ in a few key ways. For one, Reels are longer, up to 30 seconds. Users can share Reels on other social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. You can find Reels by swiping right from your home feed or clicking on the app’s Reels icon in the top right corner.
