For example, when you connect a YouTube channel, we access certain information in accordance with the YouTube API Terms of service and the Google Privacy Policy.
This information allows Social Champ to provide features such as content scheduling, analytics, reporting, and account management.
Note: We do not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) and/or machine learning (ML) models. It is used solely to provide the requested service features.
2. How We Use This Information
Social Champ uses the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our service. The purposes include:
- Delivering and maintaining the service. This entails enabling access to features, scheduling content, and managing analytics, reporting, and accounts.
- Processing payments and sending account notices, which include handling billing, subscription management, and service-related communications.
- Providing analytics, troubleshooting, and improving features, like monitoring performance, resolving technical issues, and enhancing service functionality.

3.1 Our Role Under GDPR
The GDPR distinguishes between data controllers and data processors:
- You, as our customer, are generally the data controller for the content and personal data you manage through Social Champ.
- Social Champ acts as a data processor, meaning we process personal data only on your behalf and according to your instructions when you use our tool.
We do not determine how your audience data is collected or used outside of the functionality you choose to enable within the platform.

4.1 Connected Social Accounts and Platform Data
When you connect your social media accounts to Social Champ, we access certain information from those accounts to provide the service. This may include:
- Profile information, such as profile image, username, page ID, account ID, channel ID, and access tokens
- Content information, including posts, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, media information, and post dates
- Engagement data, such as likes, comments, shares, impressions, messages, and other relevant metrics
We use connected social account data only to provide and improve the features requested by you, such as publishing, scheduling, analytics, reporting, engagement management, and account management.
We do not sell connected social account data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
You can disconnect a connected social account from Social Champ at any time by going to Settings > Social Accounts and removing the relevant account. When you disconnect a social account, Social Champ removes that account from active use in your workspace and stops using its authorization to access that platform, subject to any retention required by law or platform policy.
You may also revoke Social Champ’s access directly from the connected platform’s account, app, or security settings where that platform provides such controls.
4.1.1 YouTube API Services
Social Champ uses YouTube API Services to provide YouTube-related features, including connecting YouTube channels, publishing videos and Shorts, managing YouTube content, viewing analytics and reporting information, and managing YouTube comments or engagement where authorized by the user.
When you connect a YouTube channel to Social Champ, we may access, collect, store, and process authorized YouTube data needed to provide these features. This may include channel information, account identifiers, access tokens, video metadata, playlist information, thumbnail information, comments, engagement information, and analytics or reporting data.
Social Champ uses this data only to provide and improve the YouTube-related features requested by the user. We do not sell YouTube user data.
Social Champ’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs, including YouTube API Services, will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

By using Social Champ’s YouTube-related features, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, available at: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
Deleting Stored YouTube Data
You can disconnect your YouTube channel from Social Champ at any time by going to Settings > Social Accounts and removing the connected YouTube channel.
When you disconnect a YouTube channel, Social Champ removes the channel from active use in your account, stops using the authorization to access that channel, removes the channel from related Social Champ workflows, and deletes the authorized YouTube data associated with that disconnected channel as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days, unless retention is required by applicable law.
Deleting stored data in Social Champ does not delete content or data stored by YouTube. To delete content from YouTube itself, you must use YouTube directly or another authorized application that supports deletion of that YouTube content.
Revoking Social Champ’s Access Through Google
You can also revoke Social Champ’s access to your YouTube data at any time from your Google Account security settings or connected apps page: https://myaccount.google.com/connections?filters=3,4&hl=en
If you revoke access through Google, Social Champ will stop accessing the revoked YouTube data and will delete stored YouTube API data associated with that authorization in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

5. Cookies and Tracking
