TikTok is enhancing its mental health efforts with a new in-app guided meditation feature and expanded global support initiatives.

The meditation tool offers calming visuals and breathing prompts to help users—especially teens—relax and improve sleep. Integrated into the app’s Sleep Hours setting.

It will activate automatically for users under 18 if they’re active after 10 p.m. TikTok says 98% of teens in testing chose to keep the feature on.

TikTok is also partnering with child psychiatrist Dr. Willough Jenkins to promote the tool and encourage healthier screen time habits.

In addition, the platform is donating $2.3 million in ad credits to 31 mental health organizations across 22 countries, helping them reach more users with support and resources.

These initiatives aim to improve digital wellness and show regulators that TikTok is taking steps to protect younger audiences.
