Instagram has introduced two new features—Recaps and Celebrations—designed to help creators track their growth and stay motivated.
The new Recap feature will provide weekly and monthly overviews of key performance metrics, including post views, views from non-followers, and follower growth.
The goal is to make insights more visible and actionable, helping creators understand what’s working and where they can improve, without needing to dig into the traditional Insights tab.
Alongside Recaps, Instagram is also launching Celebrations, which will appear as full-screen prompts when creators reach important milestones, such as follower count achievements or trending Reels.
These celebratory cards can also be shared on Stories, offering creators a way to mark and promote their progress.
“Being a creator can be tough,” Instagram said. “We want to give you the right insights and encouragement to grow and stay motivated.”
These updates are part of Instagram’s ongoing effort to retain creators by gamifying progress and increasing visibility into account performance.
Whether they result in higher content output remains to be seen, but they certainly offer more feedback and encouragement along the way.
The features are now rolling out to all creator accounts.
