This upcoming feature will act as a centralized space where users can view all shared images, videos, documents, GIFs, and links—without needing to scroll through individual conversations.

Spotted by WABetaInfo, the Chat Media Hub will appear in the web client’s sidebar, giving users a streamlined way to browse and manage content from personal, group, and community chats alike.

The hub will include smart sorting tools, allowing users to organize files by date, size, or type.

It will also support caption-based searches and provide details like sender name and timestamp for each item.

A multi-select feature will let users delete, download, or forward multiple files at once — a major boost for productivity and storage control.

This feature addresses a key user pain point: the hassle of finding or managing old files across chats.

While there’s no official release date yet, the Chat Media Hub is expected to roll out in a future WhatsApp Web update.

For both casual users and professionals, this could be one of the most practical enhancements yet.
