Gone are the days when writing was limited to pen & paper. Now the world has gone digital, and so is writing. For those who have been writing for a long time, this is quite challenging to try out other fields; however, the success story of Monica Odhiambo is a real-life example showing a writer can be much more than just a writer.

Monica has explored various social media management and marketing areas, from a freelance writer to a virtual assistant. Social Champ asked her about her successful journey, and this is what she has to say about her services and Social Champ’s help.

How You Got the Idea for Your Business? What Services Do You Offer?

I first started as a freelance writer, then I diversified, and now I am a virtual assistant. I decided to diversify because on my journey as a writer; there were times getting clients would be difficult. That means when you’re not working, no active income is coming in.

As a VA, I get to have a stable income every two weeks and learn specialized skills like social media management and marketing. That also means I am upskilling. My primary services are freelance writer, virtual assistant, and social media manager.

How does Social Champ Help You Deliver Value to Your Customers?

Social Champ has helped me deliver value by allowing me to schedule my client’s social media posts. That has helped us create valuable content, increase brand awareness, find appropriate collaborations and partnerships and even get two potential clients.

Can You Explain Your Process of Planning and Execution of a Campaign for a Client? What Tools Do You Use?

For my clients, the tools I use are Google Docs, Copy.ai, Wordtune, Grammarly, and Copyscape. If I am planning anything, I use Google Docs. Be it social media posts, blog articles, or GMB posts. Then I use Copy.ai; it helps develop many ideas for the posts or captions. Then I use Grammarly to check on grammar, spelling, and sentence structure. If I need to paraphrase anything to make it simpler, I use Wordtune or Quillbot.

Then when they are ready, I copy and paste them on Social Champ, schedule, and add pictures. I mostly use Canva and Visme to create designs that go with the posts.

We at Social Champ look forward to serving you and many other users for the years to come. We wish you good luck and believe you will continue to rise in your domain. Thank you for taking out time to respond to us.

I am a part of the #ChampFam and working as a Community Specialist. You would usually find me helping people in various communities and groups. When not working, I am a huge fan of Real Madrid and have a passion for exploring exciting locations all over the world.
