Favorite is a term used by different social media platforms to denote different types of action. Favorite for Twitter was a star icon present with every tweet, which was discontinued in 2015. Clicking the star was an indicator of liking the tweet; you can now do this with a heart icon. In 2022, Favourite is an option for Instagram and Facebook where a user can create a list of their much liked or adored accounts that they don’t want to miss out on.
