Similar to Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook, Twitter too launched 24-hour stories, known as Fleets. Fleets are ephemeral content and are pretty similar to vertical Instagram stories. These are short-term content and disappear after 24 hours. Once the fleet has disappeared, you cannot retweet publicly or reply to it.
When you share a fleet, it appears in a separate area on your profile and disappears after 24 hours. Fleets can include text, photos, videos, links, live broadcasts, and people following you can view and interact with your fleet posts. Unlike regular tweets, anyone can view, fleets are only visible to a user’s followers.
This makes them a great way to share more personal thoughts or behind-the-scenes moments with your followers. Twitter fleets can be up to 10 seconds long, public or private.
