Millennials

[muh-len-ee-uhlz]

Millennial is a term referring to people born between 1981 to 1996. This term was introduced by Willian Straus and Neil Howe in the book Generations (1991). They gave this name to the first generation to reach adulthood in the new millennium.

Millennials fall between Generation X (those born between 1965-1980) and Generation Z (those born between 1997- early 2010s). Millennials are considered privileged because they came in the age of evolution. They saw the world without the Internet at an early age and the rise of the Internet in their later years.

Example

Chris Evans, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Dwayne Johnson, Rihanna, and many other celebrities are millennials.
